There is a Youtube series (many infact) that will teach you the basics to music production. This is their first video installment of the series. I've always been fascinated by the technical part of music it's an art form in itself and it goes unnoticed by the majority of people. Thanks for sharing the link it gave me a better understanding on how to get started, I think i might have found myself a new hobby for the summer!
